Details of the shrine of St. Richard in the abbey Andlau
Everybody knows Andlau holy Richarde. Just take a walk in the city to discover that his founder is still very present in the collective memory. And quite often, especially in favor of fine weather, it is not uncommon to host visitors from the church to pray that the signs continue to call it "Abbey St. Richard.
However, if the publications and literature overview on the saint and his works are not lacking, it is not the same for literature. Similarly, the archival records are few. Is it possible to know more? What historical sources are available? These sources are credible? The fund legendary in the case of St. Richard is important. This fund is it credible? Does not it compensates not the absence of credible sources? The holy still continues to enjoy a cult. It is particularly so in the spotlight Sept. 18, his birthday. What is the relevance of this cult? What can he bring to Andlaviens and all those for whom the holy deserves to be venerated?
