The Church of the Most Holy Trinity at the Esplanade
Tuesday, February 9, at 18 h 15, Jordan Benedict, curator at the Archives of Strasbourg and a member of our association, will present a presentation to the Friends of Old Strasbourg on the theme:
CHURCHES OF STRASBOURG 1850 to 2000: 150 Years of Architecture of the Sacred.
Dozens of Catholics and Protestants buildings mark the landscape in Strasbourg. Between 1850 and 2000, their styles evolve, reflecting the aesthetic felt by their sponsors, and liturgical requirements. They also reflect the history of the city and its inhabitants.
