Inception, a film that sees the big dreams. [Review film]

Inception
Film: Inception
Directed by: Christopher Nolan
With: Leonardo DiCaprio, Marion Cotillard, Ellen Page, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Cillian Murphy
Duration: 2:22
Genre: Action, SF, Thriller
In theaters: from 21 July (en )
In a word: Dreamlike
Note: 10/10, for form (I wait back a few months and two additional views to make a final decision)

Being a fan Nolan master for some time (his film Memento being the first film vamp that I received) and as major players in the film, I could not miss his posting there a few years (three? two?). The teaser excited me like no teaser had done before, he was even movie trailers that followed. Arguably this is the movie I most anticipated (more that Avatar ) of my life.
The film is worthy of my years of waiting, my months of excitement, my weeks of impatience, envy my life and my two and half hours of viewing.
I think it's the most ambitious film since Gerry (unlike it is a form very different ambition: to produce a film under stress (the desert as the only decoration) deemed as making the film impossible for Gus Van Sant and make a movie "major" and grand in the straightest line 2001, A Space Odyssey for Nolan).
latter carries with Inception the best movie for a long time, do not be afraid to see the big picture (to see things in front , even). What movie was both reconciled and public criticism in recent years? Avatar. The difference its success is that Avatar was regressive in the pleasure it gave rise to a new world, including Pandora. Here, the viewer discovers a new world, the dreams . Not without pleasure, but pleasure is much less regressive, Nolan keeps the viewer alert by soaking in different levels of dreams, and stimulates his brain and unconscious (using different color palettes for each level of dream). The most punctilious find that Nolan does not sow enough doubt, wrongly (hello guys!) . The maestro Nolan speaks in his ability to successfully make a film without complex never losing the viewer (the viewer hooked on) en route. Inception is a film that you can understand a vision, and (I'm just assuming for the moment) to re-discover the second vision, see new leads, new leads for new reflections (I already poses a few questions, I dig a little).
The other films to associate pleasure with the audience and unanimous critical acclaim in the press were the films Pixar (Wall-E , Ratatouille, There High to name a few) and ... Batman: The Dark Knight , Another film from Nolan. There is no secret. (I exaggerate, of course, and you may argue that Inglourious Basterds, Shutter Island Slumdog Millionaire (yuck), The Departed, Benjamin Button and to a lesser extent Juno, Babel, There Will Be Blood or No Country For Old Men have succeeded too, but no, they did not have the same impact - in my humble opinion).
To make his film the behemoth it is, Nolan made a film in brain-picking elements from both Matrix (a new way to shoot a movie scene: in bullet time Wachowski brothers, zero gravity at Nolan) and James Bond (the scene of action can no longer be referenced at 007 in high mountain) than in his own films: it reuses brilliantly his obsessions (the magic trick, illusion, manipulation, memory and for the memory), his experience with his two Batman (and soon three) in carrying out action scenes, references (the myth of Orpheus) and his love of film noir. We can see Inception as blockbusterien and a version for "upgraded" (luxury casting, photography licked, epic soundtrack by Hans Zimmer desire) of Memento .

I stop my criticism here pending a second (and third) vision, I want to form an opinion and not really thought about getting into delusional statements (I am afraid that is in fact a little too late). I therefore repeat that opinion, rebuild and enriched by the fall.
Until then, please, tell me what you thought of the film. :)

(And the next time we will see, I think it will be critical for the long awaited The Suburbs d' Arcade Fire )

Unison - Outside EP [Review]

Artiste  : Unison
Album  : Outside EP
Label  : Matte Black Editions
Style : Shoegaze Electro
Nationality : French
or listen to the album : Play Outside below and buy the EP on iTunes .
Note : 8 / 10

Unison is a French group makes music with love. Normally, Unison is a couple of Niort.
Unison is the union of a forest and a shoegaze electronica urban. (Yes, yes, I swear)
Their first EP, Outside, opens with the excellent title track:

In Outside, you can find anything, and here lies the success of this piece: apparently very simple, it is full of special findings, which do not pay mine, and placed end to end this light yet very dark song. For me, this is clearly one of the best songs of the year and I found him a particularly tone throughout the summer that this winter, surely tone from the words "I fall asleep " activity that I developed more in summer than in winter. (Ahem.)
ensued Brothers and sisters, a kind of hybrid Passion Pit / My Bloody Valentine all that is most pleasing, with its delightful background beat and lyrics to stabbing wish, but it's nothing compared to The Rainbow, a real massacre (as his friend Guy Double Rainbow), nine-minute song (it's rare enough to be underlined) at the haunting song is the case say. "Love is everywhere " keep telling the singer to finally be convinced with this memorable final.

Unison, I love them (and you should too). Their first album will be released this fall in Lentonia Records. In the meantime, you iron this EP as black as beautifully constructed.

Excerpts from 30 seconds to pieces "The Suburbs" Arcade Fire!

I'm in Montreal, which gives me the right (or should I say? The duty!) to publish any information regarding Arcade Fire. That said, what I publish today might not be accepted by some (hello, SACEM?), Namely sixteen extracts of thirty seconds of the last album (The Suburbs ) of Montreal's most admired in the world . Sixteen extracts, that is to say, one per song. Following my recent troubles with the DCMA, the RIAA and Google, let me ad: songs here are used only to promote the album and the concept of free listening. If you own excerpts published here, please send me an email to fakerebel.blog @ gmail.com and I take them off immediately.

This warning, up to the festivities!
Arcade Fire had already revealed its tracklisting and eight pouches, all more similar to each other . Yesterday's announced that their concert at Madison Square Garden (NYC) will be broadcast live on YouTube that was made through a teaser directed by Spike Jonze:

Untitled from Arcade Fire is Vimeo.

Today is The End radio that has claimed the permission to broadcast thirty seconds of each song on the album, before removal under the pressure-you-know. Not as good a leak, but it's something.
Well, I guess 's go then!

Why Red Flower British

Editorial of 10 July

Well, I know it's been a month and a half is complete radio silence on the blog but do Do not worry, I have nothing left.
I just had a) a tray revise b) live concerts c) friends to see d) a computer repair e) to organize a holiday and above f) to rest. It's a bit of blabber all this say to me, but good. Is not believe I just worked a anyway: I got 19 in my tank in math (the pride of my life), I wrote about some quote at Across-The-Days and a certain song in Urbstreet and then I listened to a lot of albums that I can show you but as I do not know a choice, I'll keep everything for me. Otherwise, I feel a certain satisfaction to see that Best Coast, which I mentioned in # 1 Rebel Sounds has not only worked with Kid Cudi and Vampire Weekend for Converse (see my article for Urbstreet) but begins to obstenir a little success of esteem in the mid-hisptero geeko-musical-brancho-bobo-intellectual-bullshito-independent, especially with the imminent release of their album:)
Last month, I saw two concerts zenith. The Pixies, who have all gained weight and lost their hair, but managed to keep the energy needed for an hour and half of the concert, I was pleasantly surprised by the public to quarantine more welcoming than usual. And I also saw (for the third time) Gossip concert I found a bit disappointing compared to the previous two (or slam, or stage-invasion, it was almost boring) but there was Beth Ditto for the show, the proximity to the public was at its height, it is a generosity which we are obliged to take his foot to their concert. Seems it was gloriously saved the day.
I read the fair Death to the idiots, the French, but nevertheless very American in writing and in the name Carl Aderhold. Why fair? Because if the book is enjoyable from the beginning in the pleasure he deploys to remove all the idiots in the world, it loses steam too quickly in trying to classify these jerks, the scenes quickly become cynical initially repetitive very predictable until the end (but it reads as fast ...).
And here I am in Montreal, where it is warm. Very hot.
I promise you back photos (and bits of Arcade Fire), which I have just started post on my photo blog .
Until the next Rebel Sounds, I recommend very strongly Playlist DTA available here.

Porcelain Lace Figurines

Sex and the City 2

soporific, shallow, pathetic, tasteless, disturbing, indecent, ... These are the words that were running in a loop in my head for the film.

Why am I not leaving the room before the end? Perhaps I hoped an improvement in the rain dripping nonsense ... And mostly I did not dare disturb the audience in my row (And that is perhaps even more ridiculous that the film ...).

Cervical Mucus Looks Like

Eleven stories of loneliness

There is a little over a year, I discovered cinema through an American novelist Richard Yates. I had read, loved and chronicled his first novel, The Window Panoramic . A nice visitor, Reka, then left me a comment in which she quoted her second novel, I promised myself to read. It is - finally - been done.

Eleven stories of loneliness is a collection of short stories, which, as its title suggests, explores different facets of loneliness, whether real or domestic; loneliness of the child at school, lonely man in the army, the couple's loneliness, isolation of the sick, the lonely writer ... Through these portraits, the author gives us a realistic view and disenchanted American 50s.

I can now confirm the echoes of my visit enjoyable to read, because even if the enthusiasm varied from news to another.

A third novel, Easter Parade would be published in French this fall. Continued ...

technological developments and financial help, the result is a very good action movie where waterfalls, crowned with humor.

But the best thing is a flawless cast, including ...
